Technology has veritably seeped into our everyday lives and has certainly made some of the tasks and aspects like shopping, paying the bills, entertainment, social connections, transferring money within bank accounts, etc. easier. It has also changed what may be termed as one of the best hobbies — reading. Though reading is a leisure activity and to say in very broad and trite terms, both entertains and informs, technology has transformed this activity too through devices like e-book readers or e-reader.
Design:
The new Kindle Oasis is a lightweight and sturdy e-reader and comes with an IPX8 rating. The e-reader weighs about 194 grams and measures 159 x 141 x 3.4-8.3 mm (L x W x D). The narrow part’s width is 3.4mm while a portion on the back of the device has been made slightly thicker and has a depth or thickness of about 8.3mm. The whole Amazon Kindle Oasis pack consists of a unit of Kindle Oasis (10th generation) 4G LTE e-reader, a USB charging cable, and a built-in rechargeable battery. The display does register fingerprints but not that prominently.

Why Should Buy Them?
The new Amazon Kindle Oasis is a sturdy lightweight device and is splashproof too. The battery is no big issue on this e-reader and a single charge could make it run for a week or so easily if you are a very heavy reader and devote almost 5-6 hours on a daily basis. It takes about 3-3.5 hours for one complete charge through a laptop. On light use, the e-reader could go on for 2 weeks or so. While we didn't come across any major issues while reading, we surely would have liked a faster and lag-free interface for a device of this price. In our view, go for it
